One can also find various kinds of games with the word “chess” in them that have no relation to the actual game of chess. I respect that, but the term “mahjong” has, by this time, entered the English lexicon to encompass a broader range of meanings than the original. Darn you, developers! : )īy the way, I am aware that there are reviewers out there who detest any game that has “Mahjong” in the title and is not also a true Mahjong game. But now I also have to detest the developers because, darn it, I ended up buying a program from the App Store without a demo. It has a good range of icon sets, backgrounds, and layouts, and for the price, it’s a pretty good bargain. This seemed the most promising of what I found, and I decided that for the price, I would take a chance. However, the Mahjong program I've used for a long time has been crashing on me as of late, and I wanted to try something else. Okay, if you read any of my reviews for a wide range of programs, I have been adamantly opposed to anyone who does not offer a demo.
